The Small Boat Club website -

The Small Boat Club is located on Stephens Ait, an island in the River Thames on the reach above Teddington Lock, below Kingston Railway Bridge and just downstream of the Boaters Inn pub, located in Canbury Gardens.
The club has a jetty on the Surrey bank, just downstream from the Kingston Rowing Club. At the weekend a Duty Officer runs an on demand ferry service for members and their guests wishing to cross to the island. At other times it's DIY!

Moorings at Steven's Eyot -

Turks can offer moorings at Steven's Eyot. Approximately a mile downstream from Kingston Bridge (towards Richmond) the moorings are mid-stream to piles and are especially suitable for narrowboats, barges and larger cruisers.
The location is ideal for fitting out and a roadside pier is available for embarkation and loading of stores and materials. Assistance and advice is also available as is a service launch by arrangement. However, noisy exterior work such as steel welding and cutting are prohibited.
Rates include a space on the bankside for a tender. The moorings are not residential but there is no objection to reasonable overnight stops aboard.
There are no utilities on site, but all services are available at boat yard upstream and at Molesey Lock.
